In 1887, four years after Orient Express’s first voyage, Frank Smythson opened his first stationery and leather goods shop in London. Two decades later, he designed the Panama collection, from which the Smythson writing folder is born.
The writing folder is handcrafted from textured calf leather, while the interior features smooth calf leather.
Smythson’s signature pale blue Featherweight paper is Forest Stewardship Council® certified.
The writing folder features an Orient-Express monogram created by famed graphic designer Philippe Apeloig on the cover.
Easily slipped into a travel bag or briefcase, the folder’s convenient size makes it suitable for bringing documents on the go.
